Book One

This is the beginning of the long and exciting journey and story of Mercenary Bound. We follow Tameka, the main character, as she navigates through her life as a mercenary.

Blurb:

Tameka is a half-magus mercenary from a realm of worlds where magic reigns, but residing on Earth, she tries to live life without using her sword, attempting to put her dark past behind her. Yet, when others come from her magic world and begin to torment her city, she has to stop them before they complete their full conquest over Earth.

A while back I’ve updated the book cover to make it look more appealing and here it is!

I have a terrible habit of redrawing my old work. I think I just like to see how far I’ve come and how far I’ll go. One thing that I am glad that I’ve updated was Tameka’s sword. It’s hard to see your mistakes when you’re so up close them and the way I designed her sword at first seems to be really odd. Overall this new bookcover is so much better than the old one. I don’t plan on redrawing all of Mercenary Bound over again but just the beginnings. I’m planning on on redrawing chapter 2 over because I feel like that was an extremely rushed chapter and I can most definitely improve it.
