I miss writing novels…

Before I went into comic book making I used to write, a lot. I taught myself how to write, and tell stories, and would also get my stories critiqued a lot online a long time ago. Writing and drawing were my main crafts but they were always a separate medium for me. I don’t know why it took me so long to finally combined them in the comic book medium.

When I used to heavily write, I managed to finish two books and two rewrites of one of the books, and I still feel that these books needs to be rewritten. I don’t know if I will ever publish them as a hard copy. Maybe one day. Writing is rewriting, as the saying goes. I will say that I am still far from being good at writing and storytelling but it sure is fun to do.

These books that I actually finished, to the end, are the main basis of Mercenary Bound. (You knew it was coming.)

When did I start writing these books? I can’t remember off the top of my head but I know that one of the rewrites was in 2013, and my last book I marked it for July 22,2015-January 10,2017, one month shy of starting my comic creating ventures.

With this last book that I have written, I wanted to share the first chapter on this website. I think it would be fun. But before I do, I want to do some light editing on it so it can make a little sense. The books mainly focus around Lethian, Nahleni, and Daezth and the people around them.

So in the next blog I will share my chapter 1.
